FAQ
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What if I don't have a group?
If you have 1-6 people we suggest joining with another group. Our public games default to 20 slots available, so any session with less than 20 slots will already have a group signed up.
How long is each session? What does it entail?
Our typical sessions are 75 minutes long. This includes 15 minutes on the practice range, followed by 60 minutes of gameplay in the arena. Players will have a short halftime break to grab water and use the bathroom.
Our events begin at the scheduled time and often have events booked immediately afterwards. We recommend planning to arrive 15 minutes early, so no time is lost.
Each game lasts 4-5 minutes, and our host will pick the best games for your group.
Do I need experience to play?
No previous experience is necessary to play. Most of our guests have never played before. We’ll provide training and have you practice on the practice range. Our public gameplay is designed to introduce new players to the game with up to 8 game modes.
Is there an age restriction?
The recommended age is 10 years old and up for public sessions. Please ask about our “Family Hours”, which are suitable for ages 7+ with our new kids bows.
For participants who are under 18 years old, parents or guardians must sign the waiver for their minor(s).
What is the cancellation policy?
Archery Games is a group activity, so please let us know if your group won’t be able to attend so we can make sure we have enough players scheduled for a full game.
For private events, one week’s notice is required to cancel a reservation. For public games, 48 hours notice is required.
NOTE: All cancellations will be subject to a 6% processing fee to cover credit card costs.
What should I wear/bring?
Dress like you’re going to the gym. A pair of clean athletic indoor shoes is required to enter the arena. We also recommend removing all jewelry prior to gameplay. The field is turf so some players prefer long sweat/yoga pants.
If you wish to lock up your belongings, bring a lock for one of our lockers.
For players with the option of glasses or contacts we do suggest contacts. Don’t worry though, we have specially-cut masks that fit over glasses!
Do you allow walk-ins?
We allow walk-ins if there is availability. It’s best to look at our online calendar as we may not have availability if the arena is booked to capacity.
To guarantee a spot reserve a time through our online booking system.
How many people does the arena accomodate?
The arena holds up to 20 players. For larger groups we’ll have players rotate in and out.
What if I don't know my final head count?
We take full payment for public sessions and other groups might take your leftover spots if you don’t book the slots needed for your party. We recommend getting your final head count before booking and checking our cancellation policy.
Private session’s don’t require a final head count since you rent the arena for just your group.
What if I have more than 20 players?
If you have more than 20 players than we recommend booking 2 sessions back to back to accommodate the extra time needed for everyone to play!
If you are a corporate/team building event then please go to the Team Building page to see pricing for extended session times under ‘Team Building Guide’.
Will I be playing with kids/adults?
Our public sessions are open to both kids (ages 7+) and adults. Feel free to give us a call when booking and we can help you find a time slot that looks like a good pairing. We can also designate a time slot as “Family Hours” or “16+” at no additional charge, as long as nobody has already booked in.
Can I bring my own equipment?
Feel free to bring your own mask (paintball or hockey style that fully protects your eyes and jaw) and/or armguard. We do not allow outside bows and obviously no outside arrows!
Can we bring our own food/drink?
Yes, definitely feel free to bring your own food and (soft) drinks. For parties, you can also reserve our party tables! Just let us know how many are coming and how many tables you’d like to reserve (we have five large tables in our shared seating area).
We have beer, spiked seltzer, and wine for sale. Outside alcohol is not permitted.
What if I am late for my session?
All players should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to reserved game time. In the instance where safety training is missed, we will do our best to get you in the action as quickly as possible. Arriving late will likely result in less gameplay time and a limited experience. No refunds are issued for players arriving late
